Job Description
Public Storage is looking for a Project manager who will be responsible for managing the complete life cycle of projects for our Asset Integration team to ensure planned results are achieved on time, and lead to a successful transition to our operations teams. They will partner closely with third party owners, internal stakeholders, and field teams to coordinate all tasks and track critical project milestones.
Core Responsibilities
Acts as a primary source of contact for project status. Maintaining proactive communication with all stakeholders.
Manage and execute the overall project scope and timelines. Updating a detailed project plan to track progress and major milestones.
Manage assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining overall project ownership.
Manage project status and information in the form of formal emails, client driven systems, project update meetings, and use of current project management system.
Communicate with owners, internal partners, and field teams regularly to keep all projects on track.
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes to the projects scope, schedule, and costs.
Provides overall prioritization and direction of work assignments, team resources, etc.
Addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning and presents recommendations to necessary parties.
Travel required at least once per quarter in the field – site visits, property training, etc.

Qualifications
At least 5 years project management experience, preferable within commercial real estate or property management.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred or equivalent experience.
In-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in managing projects in a high volume environment.
Self-motivated and self-directed: ability to set and accomplish personal and corporate goals.
Advanced Experience: Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and project management platforms. Ability to learn and use new software.
Candidate must have excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills
Strong presentation, and interpersonal capability, both internal and external
Possesses great people skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to keep stakeholders and third party owners informed
Ability to travel at least once per quarter for site visits
Nice to Have
Experience working with Smartsheet (sheets, reports, and dashboards) as a primary project management tool
Knowledge of property operations, including maintenance and insurance
High level knowledge of construction processes and schedules
