The Finance and Services Division manages the budget and provides fiscal services in the areas of maintenance assessments, purchasing, tracking of revenues and costs, and fleet management. Additionally, the division manages building services for the leased space and is the PUCO coordinator for fiscal regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
This position as a Grant Administrator includes but not limited to the following:
Salary Information: Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary is set at the lowest rate of the salary range. In most cases, successful employees will increase a step in the salary range within six months, with subsequent step increases occurring every year. In addition, the State of Ohio offers cost of living adjustments, longevity supplements after five years of public service, and wellness incentives.
24 mos. trg. or 24 mos. exp. in preparation & monitoring of grants &/or other fiscal accounts; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in supervisory principles/ techniques.

What You'll Do
This position as a Grant Administrator includes but not limited to the following:
- Serve as the Public Utility Commission of Ohio's fiscal grant administrator
- Collaborate with program office to assemble grant applications, plan and develop subrecipient monitoring, and assist developing compliance measurements
- Prepare and review of budgets and related documents for subrecipient applications
- Develops accounting systems, prepares budgets, ensures grant recipients are with state and/or federal procurement rules and regulations governing grant spending
- Preparation of fringe rates and indirect cost rates for approval by Federal cognizant agency
- Preparation of annual Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA), GAAP report, Indirect Cost Rate Agreement and Maintenance of Effort reporting, and ensure compliance with GAAP Standards and reporting
- Review supporting documentation to disburse grant money to recipients/subrecipients and enter vouchers for payment in OAKS
- Supervise assigned personnel

- Or alternative, equivalent evidence of the Major Worker Characteristics noted above.
