Essential Job Functions :
Reads instructions from the work order form and, through the direction of the 1st Press Operator, assists in the set-up during make-ready of the delivery end of Press.
Cleans up and keeps immediate work area neat and orderly.
Watch for defects or Press caused issues and keep good quality.
Performs other tasks as requested or needed help by Press Operator, 2nd Press Operator or Shift Supervisor.
Requirements :
Desired Qualifications / Competencies :
Must be able to understand written and mostly verbal instructions.
Must be able to perform basically manual actions exerting mostly minimum effort but effort that can be repetitious.
Comfortable in a manufacturing setting and comfortable working with printing ink and grease.
Mathematical Skills : Basic math skills
Computer Skills : Basic PC skills
Physical Demands :
Lifting is a requirement in this job. The incumbent in this job must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
The normal shift for this position is a 12-hour shift.
Due to the nature of our work and our reputation for service, employees are expected to stand ready to work overtime when requested. The work week is typically 35 - 50 hours per week.
