Overview

As a Vice President of Production you’ll serve as a key component of a cross-agency leadership team working in conjunction with agency heads of production, new business, and makers to build, sell, and deliver cutting edge digital production solutions for our clients.

PLEASE NOTE : This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office and will require onsite engagement an average of 3 days / week. Candidates local to that market will be prioritized but highly qualified candidates local to other major ET / CT metros will also be considered. Some travel to client sites will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customized production solutions and determine the required level of effort.
  • Work with full-service global production teams to deliver production solutions at scale.
  • Support the Head of Production in all aspects of departmental business, including process and staffing.
  • Manage high-level accounts and client relationships.
  • Collaborate with new business teams to define and sell production solutions to clients.
  • Partner with Creative, Marketing, and PM leads to ideate client solutions in the production and emerging technology space.
  • Evaluate and delegate projects to appropriate producers on the team.
  • Develop and recommend innovative production models / solutions that align with client goals and industry trends.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to production and project issues; assist teams with resolution and successfully lead large teams in the development of risk mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication with production partners and internal departments.
  • Deep experience in managing and growing a distributed cross-disciplinary team.
  • Experience on global business, managing and developing content across multiple languages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; work experience may be substituted.
  • 12 years of progressively-responsible, diverse experience across creative and operational production roles, preferably within a large, complex advertising agency, media organization, in-house agency, or consultancy.
  • Expert in all aspects of creative and operational digital production and experience leading multiple large-scale production initiatives across multiple clients and / or agency brands.
  • An understanding of current trends within the advertising industry and a passion for emerging technologies (AI, XR, experiential, digital / social media) to drive innovation in our work and processes.
  • Experience leading production operations and strategy for transition, acceleration, and pitch teams.
  • Experience leading and managing client relationships.
  • Highly collaborative work style with an ability to develop relationships, build rapport, and drive success across cross-functional creative delivery teams.
  • Deep experience with automation and producing dynamic creative, personalization, and production at scale. Strong knowledge of DCO platforms and CMPs (preferably Google, Flashtalking, Innovid, Clinch, Celtra, Storyteq, Otomo).
  • Highly intuitive with a natural ability to create high-level efficiencies that benefit the agency and its clients.
  • Assertive, confident communication skills with an ability to tactfully navigate sensitive, executive-level conversations and influence key stakeholders.
  • A high degree of business and political savvy with an ability to navigate complex organizational structures, understand and prioritize multiple concurrent needs, and develop relationships with executives at PDX, within agency brands, and across Groupe.
  • Prior experience managing and mentoring direct reports.
  • A sense of urgency and an ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within tight deadlines.
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects with constantly shifting parameters and targets.
  • Incredible attention to detail.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and expand services including working alongside pitch teams to build the pitch, develop audio / video assets, and participate in client meetings and presentations.
  • Refine and grow processes to positively affect the profitability of an account or office.
  • Ability to build, staff, launch, and set the vision for production teams across multiple geographies and ensure actions align with client and agency business goals.
  • Creativity and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Open to travel as needed.

    Compensation Range : $146,490-$230,460 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
