Account Executive – Regulated Brand
Leo Chicago is seeking Account Executive (AE) on a regulated brand that has been a client of Leo’s for over 70 years. As the AE you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest and the best in the industry. The AE will take on a multifaceted role within the Brand Management team exposed to traditional campaign and promotion-centric big brand advertising. In this role they will be contributing to a fast-paced and high-energy agency environment, providing the opportunity to master the day-to-day of the agency operations and the crucial role of the Brand Management department.
The opportunities provided by working on a client that has such a trusted and partnered relationship with the agency provides a great deal of unique opportunities to the AE. The AE will have the chance to get direct client contact and see projects through from initial brief to program launch.
Responsibilities
Key priorities this person will need to accurately fulfill within the next year to be successful:
- Demonstrate a strong ability to coordinate the day-to-day of the client deliverables including management of project timelines, organizing, retaining and management of relevant account documents, scheduling important internal and external meetings, and helping to maintain client financials including opening jobs and tracking estimates.
- Be a collaborative team player that understands the roles of cross-functional agency teams, as well as other agencies across the Publicis network, and understand how to work with these teams to complete tasks.
- Must understand key agency disciplines – strategy, creative, production, legal.
- Act as a resource for internal team regarding client’s brand, business, project information – seeing connections and trends across client work and acting proactively to provide solutions to problems.
- Be the expert and owner of individual projects, including setting up necessary meetings, tracking, owning and delivering client feedback to the internal teams, updating internal documentation like status documents, hot sheets and timelines with relevant project information.
- Work closely with the Account Supervisor to ensure the agency is effectively meeting the demands of client requests and project briefs, in a timely fashion
- Demonstrate an ability to understand the larger impact and implications of various projects, making sure the right agency teams have been involved or informed at the necessary stages of an assignment.
- Consistently practice operation excellence, handling multiple tasks and workflows with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Own and drive flawless execution from beginning to end, including, but not limited to effective delivery of projects – on-time, quality delivery to market. Demonstrate forward-thinking and resourcefulness.
- Be a problem solver. Be able to manage obstacles and flag supervisor before issues arise. Come with solutions.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects simultaneously and not afraid to “get their hands dirty.”
- Identify and implement new solutions to drive better work, efficiencies and process.

Qualifications
Because of the fast-paced nature and workload on this account, we are looking for an AE with agency experience (2-4 years).
