What we’re looking for: An Assistant Account Executive for MSL’s Healthcare practice.
What you bring to the table: The successful candidate will have 0-1 years of proven success in healthcare communications, demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate in a fast-paced environment and posess a true passion for the healthcare space.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do: Anchored on one of the agency’s largest accounts, you will join a highly engaged team collaborating with a client at the forefront of revolutionizing obesity and cardiometabolic healthcare. This role provides a range of opportunities to touch all facets of healthcare communications, including data/regulatory milestones, celebrity and influencer engagement, partnerships, media relations, digital oversight, creative execution, strategic ideation, client leadership and much more. You will truly be a part of moving the needle for our clients, patients and consumers by being a part of one of the biggest headlines in healthcare right now.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in client calls, developing call agendas and recaps, and project timelines
- Monitor the cardiometabolic news landspace for our client and competitors daily
- Assist in the creation of strong media and consumer materials including persuasive pitches, press releases, fact sheets, spokesperson bios, and media lists
- Support financial process for client programs including supporting management of budget trackers [MOU1]
- Conduct research for plan creation, including independent research as well as collaboration with in-house research/culture team on larger research initiatives
- Compile program earned media recaps, monthly and quarterly client reports, and support other administrative items as neede
Qualifications
Requirements/Skills:
- BA/BS Degree in a related field
- 0-1 years in experience in PR (healthcare experience preferred)
- Flexibility/versatility to tackle different tasks throughout the day and pivot with little or no warning based on client needs
- A strong interest in and understanding of healthcare and media trends
- Excellent writing skills are essential to this position, as well as great attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking and proactivity
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel and PowerPoint a plus
- Strong verbal communication skills and professionalism

Compensation Range: $39,710.00- $57,615.00 annually This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
