Responsibilities

Your Daily Duties and Impact

Business

• Identify technology enablers to extend and transform client business ecosystem
• Conduct discovery sessions with client to help them understand current challenges and accept future ready solutions.
• Provide solutions that are competitive, easy to develop, cost effective and scalable
• Address entire SDLC including architecture, provisioning, estimation, planning and leading end to end implementations.
• Manage stakeholders primarily client, team, interfacing teams.

Engineering

• Extend core engineering culture through creation of accelerators, Povs, seminars, tech sessions.
• Build boiler plate code, solution templates, and accelerators to enable faster delivery and predictable quality solutions.
• Inspire and engage community

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required and degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

 

Technical Skills and Experience

Must have engineering skills

A polyglot full life cycle engineer, who can manage the entire product lifecycle on their own Requirement: Understand requirement to map to service contract

• Design: manage high level design and low-level design Implementation:
• End to end implementation, reviews, and code quality plugins
• Devops: manage devops Testing: Unit testing and subsequent testing phases and propagation
• Productization: Experience in production release & troubleshoot

Must have development Skills

• REST based services design and implementations (Node JS / Java Spring react /Golang)
• Experience in anyone of the messaging systems (Kafka/ Rabbit MQ/IBM MQ/Active MQ)
• Any experience with event drive architecture

Good to have devops and monitoring Skills

• Experience with Maven/Gradle/Jenkins/Gitlab/Terraform & docker
• Experience in any monitoring tool ELK/ Splunk/ Kiali/ Prometheus/ Grafana/ Dynatrace/ Datadog/others

Must have cloud Skills

• Experience in any of the cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure/others) for application deployment and using cloud services in development cycle.

Good to have Advance API Skills

• Experience with anyone of the API gateway products (APIGEE /API Connect/Kong/Mule/AWS API Manager/ Azure APIM/others)
• Experience with Graphql
• GRPC standards

Must have Database Skills

• NoSQL & or SQL (Postgres/ MongoDB/ MYSQL/ NEO4J/ others)

Set Yourself Apart With

• Experience in one or more front-end development technologies
• Working experience creating high performing applications including profiling and tuning (of those applications to boost performance)
• Knowledge of one or more security or integration framework Experience in TDD/BDD Experience in Scrum/Agile Cloud Certifications at a professional or Architect level

Additional information

Pay Range: $135,000 - $190,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
