What we're looking for : A seasoned Business Development / New Business professional to join the MSL Business Development team in the NYC office.
What you bring to the table : Significant experience in all aspects of a new business pitch, end-to-end project workflow, knowledge management and team coordination. This position is equal parts planning guru, problem solver, strategic thinker, relationship builder, team leader, cheerleader and sheep herder. You watch timelines and budgets like a hawk. You're fanatical about efficiency. And, you know how to work with senior leadership in high stress moments while paying attention to every detail to make the pitch flow seamlessly.

The ideal candidate should have experience leading Public Relations new business teams comprised of multidisciplinary resources, with experience in collaborating with key agency stakeholders, including Centers of Excellence and account teams across Consumer, Corporate and Healthcare categories. Agency experience is key.
Responsibilities :
- Organize and operationalize new business pitches and pitch teams, setting them up from success from the first meeting through pitch
- Create, drive and maintain pitch timelines from start to finish
- Work with strategy, creative, account, and production teams to ensure smooth delivery of deliverables and assets, while also facilitating communications between teams.
- Coordinate with Business Development and Executive Leadership Team to secure the necessary support and expertise for each pitch
- Drive meeting agenda and follow ups to make every moment count
- Maintain regular communication with pitch workstreams to provide updates and gather feedback
- Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management and clients
- Assist in the development and execution of the business development function using key learnings and best practices from experience
- Organization and deployment of BD tools, toolkits, resources to pitch teams

Additional information
Compensation Range : $73,910.00 - $116,380.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer / temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
