The Senior Vice President, Commerce & Media is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the agency’s commerce-driven marketing solutions. This leader will oversee the full spectrum of strategy, activation, and execution across eCommerce, social commerce, digital production, and retail media. They will drive capability growth, foster client relationships, and ensure the agency remains at the forefront of digital commerce transformation.

Strategic Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead the evolution of commerce, retail media, and digital activation capabilities to drive client growth and agency differentiation.
• Develop integrated eCommerce, social commerce, and retail media strategies that align with client objectives and business growth.
• Oversee digital production to ensure seamless execution of creative assets across retailers and platforms.
• Identify and integrate new technologies, platforms, and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and performance.

Commerce Activation & Execution

• Oversee end-to-end execution of digital commerce campaigns, ensuring seamless activation across retail media, social commerce, and eCommerce channels.
• Partner with digital production teams to ensure creative assets are optimized for retailer specifications and platform best practices.
• Ensure a test-and-learn approach, leveraging data and analytics to refine activation strategies and drive measurable results.
• Collaborate with Publicis Groupe partners to bring full-funnel commerce solutions to life, integrating media, content, and conversion strategies.

Client Growth & Business Development

• Partner with Client Leadership to provide long-term strategic direction and consultative leadership across key agency accounts.
• Drive new business growth by participating in high-profile pitches, proposals, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and expansion of services.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor teams across eCommerce, social commerce, retail media, and digital production, ensuring they are equipped to execute best-in-class work.
• Optimize staffing resources, develop leadership pipelines, and implement succession planning strategies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and agility, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends.

Collaboration & Integration

• Act as a key connector between Saatchi & Saatchi X, Publicis Groupe, and external partners to leverage shared resources and drive integrated solutions.
• Represent Saatchi & Saatchi X within Publicis Groupe, advocating for commerce and media innovation while influencing cross-agency initiatives.
• Actively contribute to the agency’s leadership team, driving alignment on vision, priorities, and growth strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 10 years of leadership experience in eCommerce, retail media, social commerce, or digital activation
• Deep expertise in digital commerce, activation, and media, particularly in the CPG and retail space
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate industry trends into actionable strategies
• Credible and influential executive presence, able to build trust with senior clients and internal teams
• A leader who thrives in complexity, brings clarity to ambiguity, and fosters an environment of innovation
• Comfortable driving organizational change and guiding teams through transformation
• Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $238,000/yearly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
