Publicis Sapient is a Premier Google partner with differentiated capabilities in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Marketing Platform (GMP). This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Solutions Director to help build a recognized Google (GCP) practice in a Tier-1 consultancy.

In this role, you will guide and support prospective and current clients understand the power of Google Cloud, explaining technical features and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. A major focus of your role will be evangelizing and educating current delivery teams on “Why Google Cloud and How?”

You’ll bring your Google GCP technical architecting skills and Google relationships to develop impactful solutions for our clients and prospects. Working with the Google partner and business development leads, and with our industry sales teams you will crystalize business outcome-based propositions into technical reality. Collaborate with the product marketing, management, and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to the solutions that Publicis Sapient has created with Google Cloud.

What we seek in you…

  • Work together with the Practice Team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve blockers.
  • Extend and deepen the technical relationship with Googlers we work with, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
  • Be hands-on with project teams and prospect clients to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer / partner environments.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
  • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
  • Knowledge in Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies specifically on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Data centric experience with appreciation of approaches to deploying AI / ML based solutions.
  • Prior experience in a Cloud Architect or similar in a customer-facing role, perhaps working as a member of a professional services or systems engineering team (a bonus).
  • Deep experience working with executive solutioning as well as technical SMEs.
  • Experienced in giving presentations confidently, delivering clear technical pitches to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience with Apigee & Looker.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Marketing Platform solutions & products would be a plus.

You will be setting yourself apart if you have…

  • An appreciation of Google Marketing Products such as Google Ads.
  • A good relationship with Google Partner Teams, particularly Partner Engineering teams.
  • Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (Data or Infrastructure) and Apigee.
  • Enjoy working with technical stakeholders such as Security and Data Privacy.
  • Knowledge of agile frameworks, and experience of building an innovation led technical team.
  • An understanding of data and information management - especially as it relates to big data trends and issues within businesses.
  • Exposure to integrations of GCP to other platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Commerce Tools.
  • Architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed systems.
  • A quick learner when it comes to new emerging technologies, methodologies and solutions in the cloud / IT space.
  • Experience selling into the following verticals is a plus : Consumer Products, Retail, Financial Services, Travel & Hospitality, Energy & Commodities, Public Sector, Health, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, and Transportation & Mobility.
  • Pay Range : $150,000 - $252,000

    The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
