Overview

The Fallon Broadcast Media Buyer is a key player in the development and execution of media plans for a diverse portfolio of clients. The Broadcast Media Buyer must be a master of relationships, a cutthroat negotiator, and have a deep understanding in national and local TV (emphasis on local) and radio. Most importantly, the Buyer must be able to see the forest for the trees, working collaboratively to ensure the broadcast buy—however unconventional—plays its part in the big picture. Responsibilities

This is a hybrid, 3 days / week on-site position that requires 2-4 years’ prior broadcast buying experience.

Develop media recommendations that meet buy spec parameters such as budget, flighting, delivery, unit length and other criteria

Maintain productive relationships with media outlets and their sales representatives

Stay up to date on media developments and changes in the landscape

Lead with outside vendors to facilitate development and execution of media plans

Manage day-to-day buy negotiating, execution and stewardship for TV and Radio buys

Work with partners to create post-buys and ensure that clients receive all owed delivery

Manage all TV and Radio invoice reconciliation within assigned accounts, including importing electronic invoices, matching them to ordered schedules, troubleshooting discrepancies, securing any needed makegoods, and reconciling creative traffic rotations

Provide inputs to develop client communication and as appropriate, present those materials to the internal agency team and / or client

Maintain collaborative relationships across cross-functional agency teams

Work with planning team to identify Publicis Groupe solutions for clients

Qualifications

Proficiency in Word / Excel / Powerpoint / Outlook

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in broadcast media buying software (Mediaocean), and analytics (Nielsen, Comscore)

This position requires 2-4 years’ prior broadcast buying experience.

Additional information

Compensation Range : $49,305 - $65,415 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer / temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
