Our Earth City, Missouri plant is hiring a 1st shift Production – Digital Press Operator. As a Digital Press Operator, you are responsible for operating the digital printing presses that produce the covers and the pages for our books, ensuring proper operation of the machines and quality control of completed print jobs.

As a Digital Press Operator, you will:

·         Read and understand job specifics from customer coded print tickets and set up the machines according to the            specifications

·         Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed to maintain quality standards

·         Perform basic troubleshooting, such as clearing jams/misfeeds, and place service calls when needed

·         Perform basic maintenance, such as changing out toners and wiping off sensors

·         You will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members and leadership to meet our production and quality standards safely and accurately

As a Digital Press Operator, you have:

·         Digital Press, Commercial Print (or similar machines) experience required (Ricoh, Canon/Oce = )

·         Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity for making small measurements, and the ability to differentiate colors

·         High degrees of attention to detail and accuracy; flexible, open and willing to learn new processes

·         Experience with (or the ability to learn) reading customer-specific work orders and instructions

·         Punctuality, reliability, with excellent time-management and organizational skills

·         Full mobility to handle long periods of standing, lifting and handling heavy materials as needed
