About The Role

As the Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance at Publishing.com, you will lead one of the most critical functions in our company—ensuring we maintain the highest standards of compliance across all facets of our organization, with a key focus on sales and marketing. In this role, you will oversee the compliance department, developing our frameworks, policies, procedures, and governance that protect our company alongside our brand and reputation. Additionally, you will lead the quality assurance team, partnering with all departments to ensure adherence to compliance standards and create a culture of accountability and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify compliance risks in processes or practices and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
  • Review, approve, and provide guidance on sales and marketing materials and messaging to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate sales representatives on compliance standards, ethics, and best practices.
  • Oversee the quality assurance process and team by monitoring calls and evaluating adherence to scripts, compliance, and quality benchmarks.
  • Establish and track KPIs for compliance and QA, such as call adherence rates, infraction counts, and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Identify, document, and report compliance infractions while recommending actionable remediation steps.
  • Design, maintain, and enhance policies, tools, and technologies to improve QA processes and governance.
  • Generate detailed reports on compliance trends and QA outcomes for leadership review, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

Results

  • Within 6 months, have zero major compliance violations based on our internally identified compliance standards.
  • Maintain a consistent increase in QA Scores across monitoring calls and all other measurable scripts and / or processes
  • Reduced the number of infractions quarter over quarter over 12 months.
  • 100% of sales and marketing professionals are trained and "certified" by the Compliance team within 90-120 days.
  • Comprehensive reports are delivered to leadership monthly, highlighting compliance trends, infractions, and actionable recommendations.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) for QA and compliance are tracked and met consistently, with benchmarks aligned with company goals.
  • Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience and a proven track record in leading compliance and QA functions in fast-paced, high-growth B2C or sales-focused environments.
  • Experience working with sales teams, scripts, and customer-facing communications, preferably in telemarketing, SaaS, or coaching industries.
  • Strong understanding or experience with Telemarketing laws, GDPR, FTC guidelines, data protection, and consumer rights.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, including QA and compliance professionals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance requirements to various audiences.
  • Proven experience in training and coaching staff on compliance and quality standards.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, adaptable, and resilient professional who thrives in dynamic environments.
  • Expected Compensation

    160,000 - $180,000 USD Base Annually Bonus
