Job Description:

• * works with meat manager to set goals and improve seafood operations
• performs daily routine of seafood department inspection
• supervises and trains associates
• sets schedule for associates
• assists customers and delivers premier customer service
• dynamically sells product through the following:
• describes products and services to customers
• discusses product needs with customers
• responds to customers’ questions and provides them with information needed to make product-related decisions
• oversees and participates in the ordering and quality of inventory and merchandising of product
• maintains, fills and rotates product and displays properly
• maintains Publix's high standards for product freshness and sanitation
• cuts and prepares seafood for sale
• selects and wraps product at customer's request
• operates scale
• builds displays
• sets up demonstrations and
• assists in other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.

• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.

• Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems.

• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
