Description
The purpose of this position is to provide assistance to the real estate assets portfolio managers (REAPMs), who manage Publix’s controlled and managed real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily real estate matters and exterior property duties for Publix-owned and controlled locations for routine and non-routine repairs
- Providing daily support for the REAPMs regarding real estate and property management duties for all Publix-owned and Publix-controlled locations
- Coordinating the training of existing associates on new processes, as well as onboarding and training schedules for new associates
- Maintaining the property management SharePoint page and the access provided to various business parties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position.
- 2 years’ experience in a customer service field or
- 2 years’ experience in an administrative/office position
- Ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, schedule staff, and obtain and manage resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time and within budget
- Ability to attend to and verify the accuracy and completeness of detailed information in documents or on the computer, such as prices, quantity, weights, lists or data
- Ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, positive, and productive working relationships with associates, managers, customers, and vendors
- Ability to create an environment in which a positive and professional service orientation is evident to internal customers
- Ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor
- Basic skill level in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in business or an analytical discipline
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance terminology
- Knowledge of financial and accounting terminology
- Knowledge of property management processes
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Advanced skill level in Excel
- Knowledge of the following:

- Property Portal (Azure)
- SAP

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November.
In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check.
In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
