Join the Retail Fresh System Maintenance team as a Senior QA Engineer responsible for planning and leading testing efforts. You will be collaborating with cross-functional team members to understand system requirements and specifications and create comprehensive testing plans for new and existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements, design, and product refinement meetings with project leads and product owner to establish testing scope and effort estimates.
- Analyze project documentation, release notes, and other documentation to identify test scenarios, create test cases and prepare comprehensive test plans.
- Work with project teams and product owner to create and validate acceptance criteria for items being tested.
- Build and execute robust test cases, test sets, and test scripts using industry standard testing tools.
- Coordinate cross-team testing efforts.
- Ensure all quality assurance and testing activities are conducted throughout the life cycle and that the results from these activities are verified.
- Oversee and mentor associates on the testing processes, tools, and applications they will be testing.
- Drive testing efforts including end-to-end data/metrics analysis and reporting.
- Manage defects from identification, to reporting, resolution, and retest.
- Prepare and present test plans, test summaries, defects to project teams, business customers, and Technology leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience conducting software quality assurance for enterprise applications and a thorough understanding of testing best practices.
- 4 years of experience creating and executing test scripts.
- 3 years of experience writing SQL queries and analyzing/reporting results.
- 1 years of experience planning and leading testing teams and all aspects of testing and reporting efforts.
- 5 years of experience with writing SQL queries to support test activities.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Experience with retail systems and applications.
- Experience with:
- Quality Center
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD pipelines
- Excel
