JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The General Labor position is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations for company success. The General Labor employee’s duties are geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work site while also supporting the overall company goals.
Essential Functions

- Assists with tasks related to assembly, fabrication, painting, warehouse, and/or service.
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping etc.)
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carries out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Performs general maintenance or prescribed preventive maintenance on machinery, buildings, or grounds as assigned.
- Notifies supervisor of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all OSHA and Puck safety rules.
Required Education and Experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Regular and consistent attendance.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous maintenance and/or manufacturing experience.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the manufacturing environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The team member must frequently lift or move items up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours a week, shifts to be determined by supervisor.
