The CTE Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways at Centennial High School. The Supervisor will collaborate with school leaders, teachers, industry partners, and community members to ensure that CTE programs align with Colorado CTA guidelines and meet the needs of students preparing for college and careers. This role includes overseeing curriculum development, teacher professional development, program evaluation, and community engagement to enhance and sustain high-quality CTE pathways.

REQUIRED:
- Valid Colorado Principal License or eligible for the same at the time duties are assumed.
- Endorsement/Credentials in Career and Technical Education or a related instructional area.
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, CTE, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience in CTE or related fields.
- Valid Colorado Driver License.
- Employee must complete a fingerprint-based criminal background check and be cleared by the Office of Human Resources.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing using proper grammar and vocabulary.
PREFERRED:
- Previous administrative experience at the secondary level.
- Experience in CTE program development and industry partnerships.
- Knowledge of Colorado CTA guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing school or program budgets.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- In-depth understanding of Colorado CTE standards, curriculum, and assessment programs.
- Knowledge of industry trends and labor market demands relevant to CTE pathways.
- Experience in developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with CTE and academic standards.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships with local businesses, industries, and higher education institutions.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to set both short-term and long-term goals.
- Proficiency in using technology and instructional media tools to enhance CTE programs.

- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, industries, and postsecondary institutions to support CTE programs, including work-based learning opportunities, internships, and dual enrollment courses.
- Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of CTE programs, using data to drive continuous improvement and ensure that programs meet student needs and industry standards.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all CTE programs comply with Colorado CTA guidelines and federal requirements, including Perkins funding. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation.
- Student Recruitment and Retention: Develop strategies to increase student enrollment and retention in CTE pathways, with a focus on equity and access for all students.
