Job Title: Seasonal Boat Captain/ Pedal Boat Attendant
Salary Range: $14.81 Per Hour
Job Description:
The Boat Captain/Pedal Boat Attendant is responsible for safely operating the excursion boats, engaging guests while narrating historical Riverwalk tours, providing visitor information, and selling merchandise and vendor products. This position will assist with the maintenance and care of the Riverwalk through consistent monitoring of boats, tables, chairs, umbrellas, sidewalks, and the Welcome Center environment. In addition, Boat Captains may be asked to serve alcohol when working on the cruise boat, handle cash, give change, process credit cards, and conduct a pre and post-season inventory. Boat Captains may also be required to assist with HARP special events, including set up and tear down. The Boat Captain may also be asked to perform the duties of a Pedal Boat Attendant. When serving as a pedal boat attendant, the boat captain is responsible for safely operating pedal boats and maintaining the cleanliness of all pedal boats, pedal boat shack, and the surrounding dock area, including tables and chairs.
Job Title: Seasonal Operations Supervisor
Salary Range: $15.50
Job Description:
During the summer season, under the direction of the REO Director, the Seasonal Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the excursion, gondola, pedal boat, concessions, visitor information services, and general operations of the Welcome Center, the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo. In addition, this position will assist the REO Director with training, supervising, and scheduling all seasonal staff for ticket sales, concession sales, pedal boats, excursions, and gondola boat operations. Finally, the Seasonal Operations Supervisor will conduct the operation's daily banking, record-keeping, and cash management needs.
