JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Lunch Room Aide
Department: Support Staff
Reports To: Principal
Salary Range: $14.81 hour
Position Type: Non-Exempt
Schedule: 10 months based on School Calendar from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

MAJOR FUNCTION:
This person will supervise students in the lunchroom and at recess. They will wipe tables as students finish eating and mop up any spills.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the requisite knowledge, skills, and ability to be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. It is determined that to carry out the essential duties and responsibilities an individual must be able to work at a desk, conference table, or in meetings of various configurations; stand and circulate for extended periods; hear and understand speech at normal levels; see up close, at a distance, and have depth perception; communicate so others will be able to clearly understand normal conversations; bend and twist, stoop, kneel, run and crawl; reach in all directions; and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Note: This position requires the ability to work occasional evenings to support all programs, field trips and to monitor students before/after school or during lunch and recess. You must be able to work these hours to be considered for this position.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Pass background check
PREFERRED:
- CPR-First Aid certified
