GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for providing packaged food and beverages to adults on zoo grounds.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be in clean and neat Zoo shirt.
- Perform daily opening and closing inventory.
- Reconcile daily receipts using the POS system.
- Check expiration dates on food and beverage products in beverage storeroom. Rotate and organize products and inform when necessary based on levels.
- Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with Colorado Law and Zoo policy.
- Keep beer coolers and snack boxes clean and organized.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Ability to provide excellent customer service, read and follow instructions, operate point of sales cloud-based iPad, make accurate change, communicate information, and exercise good judgment.
ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires that incumbent can hold, lift, carry, or push items as necessary, up to 40 pounds. May require long periods of standing, hauling materials over uneven and wet surfaces, frequent bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting items. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred: Experience working in the food service or retail industries as well as cash handling and reconciliation skills. Must be minimum of 21 years old.
