Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and following dealership standards.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors to inform customers about additional services needed and estimate repair time.
- Execute repairs under warranty per manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience in an automotive dealership.
- Strong understanding of the service drive.
- Mechanically inclined with troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency with computers and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
