This brand new role will oversee the daily execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, manage content creation, and support team members to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with company goals. This role will take a hands-on approach to managing marketing operations and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact results.

The Marketing Supervisor will play a key role in driving brand awareness, generating leads, and positioning Puget Systems as a trusted leader in high-performance computing solutions.

The wide salary range for this position is intended to encourage candidates to apply, even if they don’t have all the preferred supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE :

30 days and ongoing :

  • Learns Puget Systems’ products and services, processes, procedures, and purpose as well as its customers and its position in the industry.
  • Gains familiarity with Puget Systems’ core product offerings and related components, and is able to ask questions to the right people when needed.
  • Attends new hire orientation and engages with meet-and-greets with all departments, acquiring knowledge about individual roles, understanding the organizational culture, workflow dynamics, overall business operations, and establishing initial connections for relationship-building.
  • Completes prerequisite training for new hires through the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Engages in a 30-day check in with the Direct Manager, the People and Culture Manager, and the President to discuss progress, address concerns, and align goals.
  • Gains familiarity with HubSpot, ClickUp and marketing-specific ClickUp templates.
  • Focuses on relationship-building in both the marketing department and in other high-touchpoint departments.
  • Shadows individuals in the department who will work most closely with this role.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

3 months and ongoing :

  • Shadows and assists in the planning and execution of all active campaigns. This may include product go-to-market, sponsorships, trade shows and events, partner marketing activities (~2-3), social media,  email marketing campaigns (~3-6), case studies, etc.
  • Attends 2-3 events, as event schedule permits.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity to improve department processes or strategies.
  • Attends partner and vendor meetings as an observer to better understand the industry and our current relationships.
  • Reviews the project budgeting process and the current state of the department’s annual budget. Works hand-in-hand with Marketing Coordinators in proposing activity expenses to the Marketing Manager.
  • Sits in on relevant department and interdepartmental meetings.
  • Gains exposure to the department’s current KPIs and reports, asks questions and makes recommendations on reporting needs.
  • Shadows marketing development fund conversations with vendors.
  • 6 months and ongoing :

  • Takes the lead on the planning and execution of active campaigns.
  • Manage the marketing calendar and project management tools, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns, product launches, and key initiatives.
  • Executes on identified areas of opportunity to push the department forward.
  • Actively participates in partner and vendor meetings, making suggestions and following through with agreed-upon action items.
  • Begins building own reports for tracking department progress and KPIs.
  • Manages project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring projects are delivered within allocated financial constraints.
  • Owns the process of requesting, submitting,and receiving marketing funds from vendors.
  • Documents ongoing improvements and processes and publishes SOPs for others to follow.
  • Acts as a resource for marketing team members, providing feedback and identifying / contributing to professional development opportunities.
  • 12 months and ongoing :

  • Acts as a backup for decision-making and other activities when Marketing Manager is absent.
  • Provides regular reports and insights to demonstrate the impact of marketing efforts to the Marketing Manager, and continually assesses ways to improve the data collected and reported.
  • Monitors and analyzes campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
  • Takes ownership of marketing department tools, and ensures the team is utilizing them to their greatest potential.
  • Provides feedback to the department manager on individual performance for project execution.
  • Provides tactical leadership and guidance to the marketing team, ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and timelines.
  • Mentor team members and coordinate efforts between different marketing functions.
  • Oversees the creation and distribution of high-quality content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and video content.
  • Collaborates with internal teams to create technical content that resonates with our target audience, including content creators, engineers, and researchers.
  • Assists in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation, conversion rates, and return on marketing investment, for each project and develops reporting mechanisms to measure success.
  • Begins to shadow market research processes to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :

  • 5 years of experience in the marketing field required
  • 5 years of experience in the computer hardware field preferred
  • 2 years in a leadership role preferred
  • General understanding of computer hardware components and compatibility preferred
  • Experience with Windows and Mac OS preferred
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and / or Google Docs and Sheets
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and email campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to work from home or office.
  • Able to travel for trade shows and other activities.
  • COMPENSATION & BENEFITS INCLUDE :

  • The compensation range for this position is $78,000 - $105,000 annually, based on skillset and experience level
  • Benefits include
