At Latam Distributors, we oversee operations in 15 Latin American countries, supporting our distributors to achieve their annual goals. Reporting to the Commercial Manager of the business unit, the Commercial Intern will collaborate closely with the commercial and marketing teams to build and foster relationships with regional distributors and global, regional, and local stakeholders, ensuring alignment and the achievement of planned results.
Our GO Internship Program is a full-time initiative designed to last from 6 to 18 months, providing students in their final career stages with an immersive experience in the Commercial department. Interns will receive mentorship to guide them through various challenges and projects, offering opportunities to develop analytical and critical thinking skills, always oriented towards positive results. Additionally, interns will be immersed in a collaborative and competitive multicultural environment where teamwork is key to success.
What you'll get to do
- Support the commercial and management teams in defining strategy and annual goals by country and distributor.
- Act as a liaison to follow up on negotiated targets, planned activities, and agreements to achieve defined objectives.
- Maintain constant communication with distributors to provide guidance and obtain information.
- Participate in key account strategic planning by supporting on the development of customized business plans for each assigned key account.
- Support identifying opportunities for growth in alignment with the company's objectives.
- Participate in the establishment of commercial agreements to expand turnover.
- Identify and address specific client needs/opportunities related to agreements and sales.
- Propose actions and solutions to expand sales and turnover.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the achievement of common goals.
- Monitor compliance with trade agreements in conjunction with the team.
- Analyze the performance of key accounts using indicators through internal tools and prepare reports as requested.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and documents as required by management.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Ongoing studies in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Business-related field.
- Excellent command of Spanish and English is required.
- Able to build strong relationships with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong customer experience orientation.
- Drive for results. Organization, time management and priority setting skills.
- Comfortable in fast paced and team oriented environments.
- Analytical skills to assess situations, identify opportunities and propose solutions.
- Ability to work with numerical information and derive conclusions.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to prepare reports and presentations.
