The Opportunity:
E-Commerce Manager for Byredo (North America) you will drive Byredo’s NA Online Business by optimizing sales, inventory, and digital performance across owned and retailer platforms. Leverage data insights to enhance growth, strengthen retailer partnerships, and secure strategic placements. This role would drive collaboration cross-functionally to execute launches and campaigns while optimizing digital funnels to boost customer acquisition and retention.
What you’ll get to do:
Expand Business & Landscape Knowledge to Drive Performance
- Drive the North American online business for BYREDO across owned channels and retailer platforms
- Deepen insights into Byredo’s performance by conducting regular analyses and leveraging data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Partner with Demand planning and supply to ensure healthy on-hands of SKUs, top sellers ; manage product allocation and excess depletion
- Steer monthly online sales targets along with key digital metrics like traffic, conversion and average order value
- Build expertise in competitive benchmarking, staying attuned to evolving retail trends and customer behavior
- Stay ahead of the market by consistently tracking competitors’ strategies, monitoring retailers’ communications (emails, social media, etc.), and conducting audits during key periods to extract actionable insights and bolster business outcomes
- Develop a robust KPI tracking system to measure performance against targets
- Use data to identify gaps, address inefficiencies, and proactively implement corrective measures
- Ensure the timely and high-quality execution of launches, portfolio updates, and sales-driving initiatives, supported by tracking tools that enable rapid response to challenges
- Build expertise in strategic funnels by optimizing key performance areas such as affiliate marketing, email campaigns, and paid search strategies to strengthen customer acquisition and retention
- Execute competitive strategies and identify opportunities to enhance the value proposition for customers, ensuring the brand stays current
Retailer Partnerships
- Build lasting relationships with retailer .com teams, creating streamlined workflows and collaborative partnerships that support mutual business growth
- Invest in retailer media networks in alignment with key American high traffic shopping moments
- Negotiate and secure visibility with retailers to drive brand awareness and achieve performance targets through strategic placements, sampling programs, and promotions
- Lead execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment between the brand and retail partners in key areas like product page quality, content accuracy, and campaign activations
- Test, learn, and innovate by identifying new opportunities with retailers, continuously improving strategies through data-driven insights
Communication & Collaboration
- Deliver clear, powerful communications—both written and verbal—to align internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure consistent messaging and effective coordination across teams to enhance consumer touchpoints
- Leverage the expertise of cross-functional teams by collaborating closely with marketing, media, and sales departments to align on strategic goals.
- Ensure merchandising vision is integrated into email, search, and social campaigns
- Partner with the Global E-Commerce team to build a comprehensive merchandising calendar, driving innovation in product content (images, copy strategy) and leveraging insights from global markets
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing (preferred)
- 5 years of E-Commerce or retailer.com experience
- Strong understanding of media data and research sources
- Proven ability to build brand awareness with a focus on messaging, content, and storytelling
- Significant experience executing digital communication strategies with a proven track record of tracking ROI and delivering results
- Experience partnering with retailers and staying informed on trending products and strategies
- Strong verbal communication skills with an innovative and "first-to-market" mindset
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Creative problem solver with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Positive attitude with a high level of maturity and professional presence
Compensation:
As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000.00 - $125,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
