The Opportunity:
Byredo seeks an experienced Store Manager with a strong background in luxury retail and clienteling. In this role you will be responsible for fostering brand loyalty and engagement among our clientele and building relationships with VIP customers. As the Store Manager, you will lead the team, drive sales, oversee daily operations, and represent Byredo’s ethos with authenticity and creativity.
What you’ll get to do:
- Cultivate and maintain a network of key individuals in the luxury market to drive client loyalty, particularly among VIPs and VICs.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring engagement and satisfaction that aligns with Byredo’s qualitative standards.
- Actively lead by example on the sales floor, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve sales targets, monitor KPIs, and drive profitability.
- Provide coaching and development plans for the sales team to enhance performance and achieve growth goals.
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to maximize results.
- Oversee operational excellence, including inventory management, stock control, and cash desk processes.
- Receive and process deliveries, including prepare and organize deliveries and shipments to clients.
- Organize and execute in-store events to drive traffic and elevate client experiences, building connections with local and international communities.
- Collaborate with leadership and HQ to align events with the brand’s vision and goals.
- Recruit, onboard, and train top talent, in alignment with Byredo’s brand values and culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations and create succession plans to support team development.
- Provide feedback and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain a high-performance team.
- Foster a collaborative, optimistic, and inclusive work environment.
- Be open to feedback and communicate with your team and managers in a clear and straightforward way.
We’d love to meet you if you have:
- 5 years of experience as a luxury Store Manager.
- 3-5 years of experience in makeup and/or beauty retail.
- Proven expertise in clienteling and driving sales in a luxury environment.
- Agility, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Open availability, including during holidays and peak seasons. Strong clienteling skills and able to drive sales
- Displays product sensitivity and a strong market/fashion trend knowledge
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure on busy days
- Adaptability, natural curiosity, authenticity
- Excellent Excel and Word literacy, and power point knowledge a must.
- Foreign language skills a plus.
- Agile, adaptable, and collaborative skills
Compensation:
As required by New York State’s salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges between $110,000-$120,0000 annually.. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
