Description
Pulaski High School is seeking a Business Education teacher with a high interest in building collaborative learning environments that support innovative practices. Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, 40 hours per week. DPI license in Business Education required, Marketing Education - Vocational desirable.
Job Goal: To implement an approved educational program and establish a classroom environment that is consistent with our District Philosophy, fosters integrated learning, thinking, cooperation, and personal and social growth. To ensure that students are the nucleus of the school system and our educational decisions are guided by what we consider to be best for students so that they are given every reasonable opportunity to realize their best selves.
Qualifications:
A current teaching license
Knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities
The ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current First Aid/CPR certified or must obtain
Demonstrated ability to:
work collaboratively
carry out emergency/crisis response procedures
perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position
maintain confidentiality
communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, patrons
