Nurse Manager

Description

The RN Manager is accountable for the direction, supervision and evaluation of patient care performed by nursing personnel within their assigned service setting in accordance with established goals.  Responsible for unit operation, scheduling, staffing and coordination of the quality improvement process.  Applies advance, broad-based knowledge of nursing practice and theory as well as advanced knowledge of techniques of supervision, management, and leadership as applied to specific nursing responsibilities.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in the service area and leadership ability.  Approximately three to five years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting.  Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting.
