Position Summary :
As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will load and unload packages into a 26' DOT box truck at our warehouse in Carteret, NJ. You will then transport these packages daily to our Walking Carriers in a designated area in Manhattan. This position requires individuals who are highly dependable, have a strong work ethic, and are able to work overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely operate a 26' DOT box truck.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parcels from our warehouse to a designated location in Manhattan.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and cargo information.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations promptly.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and walking couriers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries.
Qualifications :
Note : We offer DOT certification through our partner for interested candidates.
