The Civil Project Engineer will play an essential role in working on airfield and municipal projects for aviation, residential, commercial, municipal, and institutional clients. This role will provide the opportunity to manage a wide range of project phases, from initial concept through construction closeout, including significant client interaction.
๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
- Develop and interpret complete construction plans, including specifications and contract documents.
- Perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and finalize bid forms.
- Work closely with a Project Manager and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate project execution.
- Provide construction administrative services throughout project stages.
- Prepare Capital Improvement Plans and manage grant application packages for municipal clients.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong experience with site development, highway, airport, drainage, and utility design.
- Ability to conduct board and client meetings for small- to moderate-sized projects.
- Skilled in preparing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and related project documentation.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- EIT or PE certification.
- Experience in preparing submissions for land use and municipal approvals.
- Bachelorโs degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site development projects.
