Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a Founding Product Designer to lead the design of our AI-powered platform. You will own the entire design process, crafting intuitive experiences that make complex financial workflows seamless. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in an early-stage startup environment, balancing creativity, user research, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on core product experiences, from features to micro-interactions
• Create intuitive UIs that simplify complex AI-driven insights for investment professionals
• Develop prototypes to validate design choices and user interactions
• Establish and evolve a scalable design system for a consistent user experience
• Conduct user research with finance professionals to refine usability and functionality
• Work closely with engineering to ensure seamless design implementation
• Advocate for design excellence through sprints, experimentation, and data-driven decisions
• Contribute to branding and marketing assets for a cohesive product identity
• Balance rapid iteration with thoughtful, high-quality design
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar
• Strong understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and UX principles
• Experience designing data-heavy interfaces, dashboards, and enterprise SaaS products
• Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
• Basic understanding of front-end development constraints (HTML, CSS, React is a plus)
• Interest in how AI enhances user experiences
  
  

Experience Requirements

• 5 years of product design experience, with at least 2 years in digital products
• Previous experience in early-stage startups or designing products from inception
• Proven track record of shipping successful products or features with measurable impact
• Experience designing for specialized professional users (finance, SaaS, B2B) preferred
• Familiarity with financial services, M&A, or investment workflows is a plus

• Excellent communication and ability to articulate design decisions

• Passion for creating intuitive experiences for complex AI-driven technologies
