Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Support Consultant to join our team in either Sunnyvale, CA, or Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production support with a focus on analytical problem-solving, automation, and the ability to debug Java and Spring Boot applications.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support: Provide support for various New Product Introduction (NPI) applications running in production environments.
User Collaboration: Work closely with business users to support and unblock them, ensuring the continuous flow of business operations.
Root Cause Analysis: Identify the root causes of bottlenecks and issues occurring in live environments, and develop solutions to mitigate these problems.
Proactive Monitoring: Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through proactive monitoring and problem-solving.
Hot Fixes: Implement small fixes or hot fixes to maintain business continuity without significant disruption.
Automation: Write utilities and automate support processes to reduce manual efforts in production monitoring and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
Must be located within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA, or Austin, TX, or be willing to relocate to these areas.
BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum Of 6 Years Of Experience In Production Support.
Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and solve problems efficiently.
Experience in debugging Java (preferably Full Stack) and Spring Boot applications.
A mindset focused on automation to improve efficiency in production monitoring and issue resolution.
