Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules in alignment with departmental procedures.
- Assemble and analyze project information to eliminate design discrepancies and improve planning efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams and trade partners to create detailed schedules.
- Monitor and update schedules, ensuring adherence to project milestones and timelines.
- Input, analyze, and track design deliverables, procurement, and construction schedules.
- Generate internal and external reports detailing project status, forecasts, and progress measurements.
- Utilize scheduling and cost techniques to evaluate project performance and recommend modifications when needed.
- Develop conceptual schedules independently for discussion and refinement with project teams.
- Maintain a database of historical schedule durations for better planning and forecasting.
- Support scheduling and 3D modeling to enhance project planning and visualization.
- Primavera P6 (Advanced) – Strong hands-on experience in scheduling and progress tracking.
- ERP Cost Management Tools – Proficiency in integrating scheduling with cost controls.
- Construction Scheduling Expertise – Strong knowledge of industrial and commercial construction disciplines.
- Project Reporting & Analysis – Ability to create detailed status updates, forecasts, and reports.
- Problem-Solving & Communication – Strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with 3D modeling for project scheduling.
- Familiarity with other scheduling and project management software.
- Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and techniques.
- 7-10 years of industrial or commercial construction scheduling experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and ERP cost management tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred).
