Job Overview / Summary :
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of IT experience including 6 years in software testing and 5 years in automation testing using Selenium. This role requires expertise in Python scripting test planning and execution as well as experience with tools like JIRA and BitBucket. Candidates with experience in medical device testing and embedded systems will be preferred.
Responsibilities :
- Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python.
- Design and implement test plans test cases and test strategies.
- Perform validation and verification (V&V) testing and review test artifacts.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Work in an Agile / Kanban development environment ensuring quality assurance best practices.
- Utilize JIRA and BitBucket for tracking test cases defects and version control.
- Ensure software quality through systematic test execution and defect reporting.
- Troubleshoot issues in Linux environments and optimize test processes.
