Pull and Press Café, located in the state-of-the-art Paragon Athletic Center, is seeking a skilled Café Barista to lead our café operations and bring exciting, innovative ideas to life.

Here, you’ll be more than just a Barista – you’ll be a creator, helping to craft a menu that reflects our commitment to wellness, quality, and vibrant flavors. From designing seasonal coffee specials to inventing fresh-pressed juice and smoothie recipes, your creativity will shine! This position offers a high level of Independence for someone that is highly motivated.

What You’ll Do- Lead with Passion:

• Inspire Your Team: Work with a group of talented baristas and café staff, fostering a positive and high-energy work culture.
• Run a Smooth Operation: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control, ensuring every shift runs flawlessly.
• Set the Standard: Lead by example, delivering excellent service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Bring Your Creative Side:

• Craft the Menu: Use your creativity to help design and refine our menu, from signature coffee drinks to fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and health-focused snacks.
• Stay Trendy: Stay on top of industry trends to introduce innovative, seasonal menu items that excite our guests.
• Collaborate: Work with our team to ensure the menu aligns with the café’s wellness-focused mission.

Required:

• 1–2 years of leadership experience in a café or similar environment.
• Proven barista skills, with a strong knowledge of coffee, juicing, and smoothie preparation.
• A creative mindset with a passion for crafting unique and health-conscious menu items.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A dedication to providing outstanding customer experiences.
• ServSafe (or equivalent) Food Manager Certification

Preferred:

• Certification or formal training in coffee or juice/smoothie preparation.
• Experience in menu development or food and beverage innovation.
• Familiarity with inventory and scheduling tools.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-Time

Pay: $17 - $20 Tips

Expected hours: 40 Hours/week or Part Time (flexible)
