Title: Senior Project Manager
Location Plano, TX Hybrid - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday onsite
Duration: Fulltime / Permanent
Manager Notes:
- The person has to be a true PM and they must have strong Oracle apps experience and understands financial side experience (knowing the financial workflows- AP/AR/GL, etc..)
- The financial modules will either be Fusion OFA (Oracle Fusion Applications) or Oracle EBS r12 modules. Oracle EBS includes: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Asset and General Ledger. Oracle Fusion financial modules include: payables, receivables, fixed assets, expenses, and reporting
A Bit About The Role
- Manage budget, cost, schedule, resources and timelines.
- Interface with external and internal stakeholders to capture project requirements
- Manage third party vendors and implementation partners
- Provide project status updates to the stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Identify and obtain project team resources
- Manage overall project performance including, scope, quality, schedule, and risks.
- Serve as the primary communicator with the sponsor and key stakeholders on project issues
- Review contractor s invoices and change orders for accuracy and completeness
- Lead regularly scheduled, detailed project presentations to various levels of management.
- Ensure a good collaboration and working relationship between the project manager, line managers, and the resources assigned to the project
- Ensure project costs are managed effectively, including development of recovery plan to stay within budget limits
- Ensure project team members understand their respective responsibilities
- Lead the requirements gathering, documentation, testing and deployment plans.
- Coach and lead team members to ensure that they complete task plans, tasks in a timely manner.
- Identify project risks and escalate in a timely manner.
About You
- Bachelor s degree
- PMP and/or Scrum Master certified
- 10 years of experience leading, driving, and delivering ERP projects with multiple integrated work streams.
- The candidate should have hands-on experience working with various project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience working in/with any big 5 consulting companies such as Accenture, Deloitte is a huge plus.
- Proven experience managing ERP projects using waterfall and/or agile methodologies
- Experience leading Oracle Fusion projects is a huge plus.
- Has experience managing projects within IT for Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain and CRM business functions.
- Impeccable verbal and written communications skills to work effectively with senior stakeholders
- Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
