Location: Cayce, SC OR Richmond, VA - Hybrid
Duration: 6 to 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled contractor with expertise in Ansible Tower, playbooks, and strong proficiency in Linux. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience (10 years) with Ansible and Linux and a proven track record of managing and automating infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate infrastructure tasks.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure through automated processes.
- Provide documentation and training to internal teams on Ansible and Linux best practices.
- Utilize Ansible Tower for orchestration, provisioning, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems and RedHat products.
What is the top (at least 3 if possible) must have skill sets (technical/functional) which are required?
- Proven experience with Ansible Tower and playbooks.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, particularly with RedHat products.
- Experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
What are the top nice to have skill sets?
- Certification in RedHat or Ansible.
- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
