Assistant Director of Nursing (New Construction)

Job Overview
The Director of Construction is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects within the organization. This position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in managing construction teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Duties

• Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• Supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and designs that meet regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including contracts, change orders, and compliance reports.
• Maintain knowledge of HIPAA regulations relevant to construction in healthcare settings to ensure patient confidentiality is upheld during projects.
• Foster a culture of safety within the team by promoting best practices in construction safety protocols.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members on medical terminology related to healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management or a related field, preferably within healthcare environments such as home health or assisted living facilities.
• Strong knowledge of nursing administration practices and familiarity with hospice care principles.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Proficient in documentation review processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings is advantageous.
