DEFINITION OF POSITION : Provide a full range of school psychological and counseling services to children, including screening and assessment, designing remedial educational programs, individual, and group counseling with students, school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate. Function as a member and / or leader for the multidisciplinary team to determine the child's eligibility for special services, appropriate programming, and on-going progress.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Emergency Educational Staff Associate Certificate or Residency Educational Staff Associate Certificate (ESA)
- Possess or be eligible for a Washington State Certificate with school psychologist endorsement
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Successful experience with elementary / secondary-aged children with special needs

TERMS OF CONTRACT :
Salary : $55,318 - $104,265 per year, placement based on experience and level of educationLength of Contract : 0 FTE, 180 days plus professional development daysLeaves / Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, life and long-term disability coverage is provided through SEBB (School Employee Benefits Board) for employees who work at least 630 hours per academic year.
