Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Host/Server to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional dining experience. You will assist in guest relations, taking orders, and providing outstanding customer service throughout their visit. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using a POS system.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests and check in regularly to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with a focus on guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with management, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering inquiries.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
