Pulmonary Associates is looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our dynamic team. Three years experience in managing a medical office is required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a medical office
- Strong leadership skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Understanding of medical billing
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory guidelines (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, EMR and Clinical Management Software
- Greenway experience a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office
- Monitor clinic activities and patient flow to ensure patient care is effective and efficient
- Investigate and resolve any patient care issues
- Ensure cleanliness of facility
- Perform management duties to include participating in the hiring process, ensuring proper staff training and staff compliance with company policies and procedures
- Supervise non-physician staff
- Routinely conduct staff meetings to discuss operations, staff issues, patient satisfaction and share general information
- Promote positive environment for patients and staff
