What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Insurance Verification Specialist position at Pulmonary Bill, LLC?
Good understanding of ALL Medical Insurances!
Note the following requirements:
- Must have strong telephone skills with healthcare insurance companies
- Must have at least 2 years' experience verifying insurances.
- Must be up to date with all new changes of Insurances & IPA's
- Must have knowledge of Medicare replacements
- Must have knowledge of Medicaid Managed Care Programs
- Must have time management skills (Follow Up)
- Must be organized and pay attention to details
- Must have knowledge of using Insurance web portals for eligibility & claim status. (Trizetto, Availity, TMHP , Novitasphere, etc.... web portals)
- Performs miscellaneous job -related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of E-Clinical Works & Medisoft Software practice management is a plus.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Works ( Word, Excel....)
- Bilingual communication skills are a major plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
Salary : $13 - $15
