What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant Supervisor (Full Time) position at Pulmonary Sleep and Critical Care?
The Medical Assistant Supervisor position will be in charge of successfully managing the day to day operations of the Medical Assistant's for all of our providers. Includes, ensuring adequate staffing levels, promoting team work, training of personnel to include orientation, evaluations, ensuring adherence to all relevant healthcare regulations, including state and federal laws and maintinaing proper documentation, safety training, counseling, assisting in policy and procedures, develops progressive departmental goals, analyzing daily productivity, proactively provides solutions and acts as a mentor for medical assistance, performs daily patient care oversight by reviewing outstanding orders, identifying and addressing quality issues, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and policies, immediately responds to patient concerns, monitors supplies and inventory and has excellent communication skills and conducts periodic departmental meetings. Reports directly to the Practice Manager and Physicians.
Requirements :
- Preferred Current Florida RN or LPN license will consider Current Certified MA based on experience
- Current BLS CPR card
- Minimum of 5 years prior Management Experience in the Medical Field
- Strong Leadership Skills and Communication Skills
- Proven ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts
- Current knowledge of healthcare regulations
- Proficient in Medical Terminology
