Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans and action plans to achieve sales goals and profit goals in national Colleges & University sectors, institutional buyers, and similar clients
Responsible for product placement to the campus dining, catering and on/off campus retail
Handle purchasing management for C&U buying office or group purchasing organizations (GPOs)
Ensure seamless product delivery and alignment; collaborate with catering managers and vendors
Establish CRM excellence and build long-term partnerships with key clients (institutions and distributor partners) and work closely with the value chain, participate in all relevant meetings and ideation to ensure the resources around the product/service
Build and maintain long-term partnerships and relationships with key institution clients, and distributor partners.
Actively participate in industry trade shows, food expos/shows and sponsored venues to build brand presence and generate leads.
Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecast, ensuring accurate pipeline and sales projections.
Set and monitor P&L targets for the C&U channel, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Participate in weekly S&OP and meetings with cross-functional team discussions to align sales efforts with supply chain, marketing, and operations.
Develop effective sales presentations based on customer needs, insights and the customer’s decision criteria, and product tastings to secure menu opportunities
Effectively manage broker / broker network to optimize sales coverage and market penetration.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field preferred10 plus years’ experience as a national sales manager or equivalent level of project management
Ability to effectively manage broker network
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and communicate at all levels of the organization
Ability to quickly establish credibility across the organization and engage others to ensure success
Strong skills in category planning, account management, and product pitching required
Superior communication, analytical and presentation skills
Ability to utilize culinary skills and knowledge and/or working with industry professional audience will be a plus
Ability to work closely with sales representatives or account managers from food distributors (e.g., Sysco, US Foods, DOT).
Leverage experience in sales roles with food manufacturers targeting institutional markets
Understand procurement processes, pricing structures and
foodservice operations
Ability to apply operational insights, supply chain expertise, and logistics knowledge
Ability to travel frequently

Salary : $115,000 - $125,000
