The Regulatory Compliance Intern provides support in product management to bring new and renewal import products (mainly from South Korea) to market quickly and under compliance. The person will support Regulatory Compliance Specialists for assisting with the regulatory duties and help to ensure that products are compliant with each targeted market.
Job responsibilities:
Assist with translation and labeling information verification to ensure labeling compliance of import products.
Assist with review, improvement, development, and implementation of regulatory and compliance processes, procedures, and training.
Maintain/collect data for analysis and reporting.
Assist with other projects/tasks as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Any Science or a Food/Nutrition related field.
Detail-oriented, demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Knowledge of food product development and import/export process is preferred.
Korean/English bilingual is a must.
