Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Store Manager to oversee daily operations and drive sales in our retail environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in sales and customer engagement.
- Monitor store performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve results.
- Assist ownership in managerial tasks for operating the business
- Stocking/Ordering Inventory
- Training and supervising staff
- Completing scheduling
- Reviewing daily task checklists
- Coordinating servicing on equipment maintenance
- Reviewing/Submitting payroll bi-weekly
- Dealing with customer complaints and queries
- Providing opportunities for staff advancements
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns and executing the marketing goals with Ownership
- Integrate into the community for business development opportunities
- Coordinate with the University with collegiate events and organizations on campus
- Be an active participant in the Chamber of Commerce
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong skills in budgeting, inventory control, and sales management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, with experience in training and development.
- Proficiency in math for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
