Job Overview:
A licensed electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and distribution settings. They ensure electrical systems are safe, functional, and comply with regulations and building codes. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, outlets, and electrical systems in compliance with national and local electrical codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues and conduct repairs, ensuring that systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Inspection: Inspect electrical systems and wiring for safety and functionality, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures, protocols, and regulations while working on electrical installations and repairs.
- Project Management: Work with contractors, engineers, and other professionals on construction projects, ensuring electrical work meets all requirements and deadlines.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients to explain the work performed, offer advice on electrical systems, and provide excellent customer service.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all installations, repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks performed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid electrician’s license issued by the state of Florida or local regulatory body.
- Proven experience as a licensed electrician (minimum of 1 year).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to perform electrical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
