What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner position at Pulse-MD Urgent Care?
Pulse-MD Urgent Care (www.pulse-md.com) is seeking Per Diem Nurse Practitioner's (FNP) or Physician Assistant's (PA-C) for our location in Bonita Springs, Florida. We provide an excellent work environment. The practice is Physician owned and the partners are involved in day-to-day operations. No corporate ladders.
- Our Urgent Care is open Monday-Friday 8a-8p, Saturday-Sunday 9a-5p
- Per Diem position would require 4twelve hours shifts per month and Part time would require at least 2 twelve hours shifts per week

Pulse-MD Urgent Care is a growing chain with locations in New York and is in search of PD Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant positions. FNP or PA-C must have either Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or Internal Medicine experience. Position is open to both Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Here are some more requirements.
- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses
- Consult with or refer patients to appropriate specialists when conditions exceed the scope of practice or expertise
- Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies
- Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions, with special attention to vulnerable populations such as infants, children, pregnant and lactating women, or older adults
- Diagnose or treat acute health care problems such as illnesses, infections, or injuries
- Diagnose or treat complex, unstable, comorbid, episodic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other health care providers as necessary
- Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances
- Maintain current knowledge of state legal regulations
- Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as complete blood counts (CBCs), electrocardiograms (EKGs), and radiographs (x-rays)
- Perform care procedures such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking cultures, and debriding wounds
- Perform routine or annual physical examinations
- Prescribe and/or administer medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized
- Testing or examining for COVID19
- Treat or refer patients for primary care conditions, such as headaches, hypertension, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, and dermatological conditions
