What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Assistant - Medical Procurement position at Pulse Vascular?
The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for the procurement and management of all inventory products. The purchaser should be able to independently place orders, receive product, manage an inventory system, handle discrepancies with deliveries and effectively communicate all information to accounts payable. This position will work closely with clinical team members to support the medical supply inventory efficiently. Experience with medical product ordering is required. Prior experience with inventory or purchasing software is strongly preferred. Duties will include purchasing, receiving product, inventory tracking, communicating issues with vendors and internal accounting and department team leads.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of stocking inventory
High school degree or equivalent.
2 years of experience in purchasing or related supply chain work required
1 year of experience in medical product required

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. No nights, weekends or holidays.
