Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and providing accurate diagnostic evaluations. This role requires a strong understanding of diagnostic radiology, aseptic techniques, and medical terminology to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure the proper use of equipment and maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss scan results and assist in diagnostic evaluations.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to minimize infection risks.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to scans performed.
- Stay current with advancements in CT technology and best practices in diagnostic radiology.
- Provide support in urgent care situations, responding promptly to patient needs.
- Educate patients regarding the scanning process and address any concerns they may have.
Skills
- Proficient in operating CT imaging equipment and performing scans.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and practices.
- Familiarity with nuclear medicine procedures is a plus.
- Understanding of human physiology and medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare staff.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in imaging results and patient care.
Requirements
Required Minimum Education
- Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology Required
- Required Minimum
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required
- Less than 1 year experience in CT Preferred
Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s)
- ARRT Radiography Required
- ARRT Computed Tomography Required
- Basic Life Support Required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.36 - $59.51 per hour
